Who Am I? |
| My name is David and I have been an avid 4wd enthusiast for over a decade
now. I am currently living in Mackay which is in Central Queensland with my wife Melissa, daughter Dana and son Ryan. We
only moved here in April 2006 so are still new to the area. We feel right at home here however and love the region with its
lovely beaches and ranges and am looking forward to many great camping trips. We have been active members of numerous 4wd clubs over the years including the Downs 4WD Club in Toowoomba (our first), Top End 4WD Club in Darwin, Mitsubishi 4WD Owners Club of Queensland in Brisbane and now the Mackay Land Rover Club in Mackay. We felt it necessary to join a Club in order to gain experience, meet fellow 4WD enthusiasts and travel this great land with friends. The knowledge I have gained from being a member of a Club has been invaluable. In addition to 4WDing I also enjoy fishing and camping whenever time permits. Some trips that we have done are Kakadu, Litchfield NP, Arnhem Land, Cape York and the Gulf region. We would also like to travel to places such as the Tanami, Kimberlies, Simpson Desert and Canning Stock Route in the not too distant future.
